On May 29, 2009, I was instantly awakened up at 3:00am to find Pastor Steve Grey ministering at World Revival Church. He was working the altar and a woman began to explain that she had a team of 17 that were with her from Shreveport, LA, that would be transitioning to Raleigh, N.C. but they had to come by way of the fire first in Kansas City. At that moment I heard in my spirit…”connect with her.” I thought, “well that’s strange, I don’t have any idea who she is.” But the fire in me was already speaking and burning. The next day I accessed World Revival Church website and clicked on to a video they had posted on the site and you guessed it…there was a clipping of that same woman from the night before, except this time she was on the platform giving a testimony and all I heard was…”I’m Pastor Jan Baker.” Well what are the chances of that happening without God being in it, so the rest is history. I typed in her name, pulled up her website in Shreveport and proceeded to send her an email on May 30, 2009, explaining what the Spirit of the Lord had done. I heard back from her on June 8, 2009 and we continued to correspond by email for the next seven months until she came to Living Stones in January 2010 for our Anniversary. From there, I scheduled a series of meetings in February for her and her team to come release the fire. We haven’t stopped meeting yet. It seems that the Lord has combined two ministry teams together that were passionately pursuing Him and the manifested outpouring of His Glory. The meetings run every two weeks and He never fails to show. People are being healed, restored, delivered, refreshed, and baptized afresh in Revival Fire.
As a footnote, when the desperate cries of two Prophets are heard in the Father’s ear, will He not answer by FIRE. The only question we both had for each other after the connection was “How desperate are you, and are you willing to pay the cost, and will you take this to completion? After wrestling with the trust factor, the truth that stood before us was this: God can not use those who remain in a place called “reserve”. We must be willing to risk it all-all over again, and dare to believe that the God who promises to answer by Fire-will truly pour out Himself on a people and a place(s). Therefore, once again, we make ourselves available to Him.
